Early today news broke that Ciara is suing Future for defamation to the tune of some $15 million. Now footage has surfaced of Future getting served court papers relating to Ciara's case in person.

They've been a contentious pair in the public eye ever since they broke up in 2014. Songs like "Throw Away" on Future's Monster make reference to their break-up, while the Atlanta rapper has often spoken down to Ciara on Twitter and in interviews.

Now it seems like Ciara has had enough, and above you can see Future getting served papers outside of LAX airport.

He might have little reason to care, though. Fresh off a Super Bowl ad with Cam Newton, Future is having a good week thanks to his new album EVOL, which is projected to top the Billboard charts.

In the lawsuit Ciara claims that despite Future saying she has "control problems" with their son, he's been allowed to see baby Future some 19 times since December 2014. The lawsuit also claims that Ciara is not only seeking $15 million for libel and slander, but wants Future to delete the string of tweets he sent out last year. According to the lawsuit, she also seeks to prevent Future from talking publicly about private issues concerning their child in the future.

Hopefully these two work out their issues. Purple Reign seemed to have messed up Russell Wilson's game in the playoffs, but Future's been extending his hot streak into 2016. Surely their fans wish Ciara and Future's personal lives no longer encroach on their musical careers.
