New York rap stalwart Meyhem Lauren gets in the holiday spirit in the video for "Money in My Pocket." Mobbing through Los Angeles in a Santa Claus outfit, Lauren posts up on a corner as Black Santa and doles out gifts to the children. Handing out beat up Air Jordans, car air fresheners, a 40 ounce of Colt 45, Lauren brings home a stack of ones to add to his shoebox collection. Check out the video above.

The song will likely land on Meyhem Lauren’s Piatto D’Oro, which is slated to drop via Fool’s Gold soon. As Action Bronson's right-hand man, the Queens MC has carved out a nice niche for himself and is one of the more revered grimy lyricists on the scene. Last year, Lauren teamed up with Buckwild for the gritty Silk Pyramids. Earlier this month, Lauren teamed up with Roc Marciano, Bronsolino and Big Body Bes for "Bonus Round." Stylistically, the MCs embody everything people have come to love and know about New York City rap. With no chorus and a looped up beat from Harry Fraud, “Bonus Round” is a true throwback joint that has plenty of replay value.
