"Lot of good shit coming up this year... and any year," says Doom in his new "A Villainous Adventure" video that follows the eccentric MC as he goes island hopping. When reading between the lines, the latter part of his statement may mean that he has music on deck, it's just a matter of releasing it to the masses. The video was shot while Doom traveled to the tropical paradises of St. Lucia and Cuba. "Out here healin' up and freshin' up and shit. Gettin' ready to come through and fuck y'all up!" he adds, presumably talking about the tracks in his vault.

In addition to briefly talking about his forthcoming plans, the New York rapper is seen on his balcony, overlooking a misty St. Lucian view. He also drives a motor boat, enjoys a cigar in Cuba and records himself while taking a dip in the pool. Of course, MF Doom is masked throughout the entire clip. The video was shot in promotion for the new "Villian Cap," which was released in collaboration with New Era. Peep the cap in the video and cop yours here.

It's quite plausible that a new MF Doom project is underway. The hip-hop underground legend has been hitting the studio lately, most recently being featured on PRhyme's "Highs and Lows," alongside Phonte. The long-awaited Ghostface Killay and Doom collaboration, DOOMSTARKS, may finally hit shelves. The pair released the first single, "Lively Hood" and performed together at the Ill Points Festival last month. Check out "A Villainous Adventure" above.
