XXL Freshmen 2015 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Our next pitch, Washington, D.C. native Fat Trel. The 24-year-old signed with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group in 2013.  Throughout his career, Trel has released a host of mixtapes, most recently unveiling Gleesh in April of last year. In the past, the MMG signee has worked with top notch peers such as Rick Ross, YG, E-40, Wale and Big K.R.I.T. Fat Trel is currently prepping to release his Georgetown mixtape, which will be followed by his debut album. Watch above as he tells us why he should appear on the coveted XXL Freshmen list.

The XXL Freshmen 10th Spot will run from March 16 to March 22. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into XXL Freshmen Class.
