At this rate, Tyga is going to have to change the name of his hit "Rack City" to “Rack Cities.” The Young Money sniper has been travelling to a slew of locations around the country to shoot the video for the "Rack City" remix, which features a myriad of artists.

“We got everything done,” Tyga told XXL via a phone call from LA on Saturday (January 21). “It’ll be out soon. All one video. It’s hard to get everybody together in one place. Everybody is separate so Miami, I went down there and shot with Wale and Fabolous. I went to Atlanta and shot with T.I. and Jeezy. I have Meek Mill, too. We’re gonna shoot him this week in LA."

As per the concept of video No. 3 for the track, Tyga says, "I tried to keep it somewhat into the theme of the ‘Grand Theft Auto’ one [from the original video] with the gold and the dark colors."

The mega remix to "Rack City" started to take shape when his co-stars made it clear they were feeling his record, putting out their own versions of the track, Tyga explains.

“Wale did a version," he says. "He had like 40 somethin’ bars, I had to cut it to 12. Fab, I used his verse off of his mixtape he just dropped. I used Jeezy verse from his freestyle, a remix he dropped. T.I. and Meek did new verses.”

Tyga says his long-awaited LP, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, is due in stores February 21 now.

“I turned it in a month ago [but] they want to do more promotion and stuff on their end,” he says. “They felt they wasn’t ready. Whatever it takes, I’ve been ready.”

Besides his “Rack City’ remix, Tyga says he and Lil Wayne are shooting a video for “I’m Faded” and he’ll also appear in a new Nicki Minaj video named “Muthafucka Up.” —Shaheem Reid
