Twitter Wants To Buy SoundCloud
According to Billboard, Twitter is considering making a deal to acquire Soundcloud.
Soundcloud, which was founded in 2007 by Eric Wahlforss, and Alexander Ljung, have raised an astonishing $123 million since launching. In addition to racking up money, as of last year, they have over 40 million users. If this deal does go through, Soundcloud will expand exponentially, since Twitter has 255 monthly users.
This could serve as a potential goldmine for Twitter since their last music venture, it's #music app, failed miserably after only existing for merely a year.
