Super producer and musician Timbaland is making moves.

According to a recent Billboard report, Timbaland has joined forces with Sony Records, entering into a joint business venture with Epic Records for his label Mosley Music Group (MMG). Epic's chairman/CEO  L.A. Reid said his work on Michael Jackson's recent Xscape album really got him noticed by the label and really brought the deal into motion.

Epic will now take over the marketing, distribution, publicity, and overall services for the imprint. For now, Epic is only allowed to reveal a strict set of releases for the beginning of next year, including projects by Tink and V. Bozeman. Mosley also said OneRepublic will remain under MMG and the Interscope umbrella.

Timbaland is expected to release his final album, Textbook Timbo, through MMG/Interscope next year.
