Her feminine poses, piercing sexuality and sheer bravado have earned Ice Spice the "Princess" nickname. Her success in rap seemed like it was overnight, but the Bronx, N.Y. native's rise was organically obtained due to her appeal to Gen-Zers, who love her curly, ginger-haired good looks and quotable lyrics perfect for lip-syncing on TikTok.

Born Isis Gatson, Ice Spice brought sass to drill music with her 2022 breakout hit "Munch (Feelin' U)," produced by her go-to hitmaker RiotUSA. In 2023, the Dominican-Nigerian rhymer released her debut EP Like..?, which further pushed her star power to the stratosphere. Songs like the infectious "In Ha Mood," the sitar-sounding banger "Bikini Bottom,” the Lil Tjay-assisted "Gangsta Boo" and her girl-power anthem "Princess Diana" show that Spice is far from a one-hit-wonder, but a woman ready to stake her claim in hip-hop.

Not only is the 23-year-old rhymer's album stellar, but her collaborations are on fire as well. Spice's "Boy's a Liar Pt. 2" collabo with PinkPantheress is a platinum-selling hit; "Karma," her remix partnership with Taylor Swift is a Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper; and duets with Nicki Minaj on both the "Princess Diana (Remix)" and the Aqua-sampled "Barbie World" are a chef's kiss.
