The influential hip-hop broadcast The Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show will return to New York City for a live celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The show's hosts Adrian "Stretch Armstrong" Bartos and Robert "Bobbito" Garcia will team up for an onstage re-enactment of the radio show at (le) poisson rouge on Feb. 10.

Stretch, Bobbito, and Shade 45's Lord Sear plan to mark the  show in a room with about 800 people. "People will get on the mic and rhyme, but no one is performing," Bobbito told the Village Voice. He added that their plan is to let the party dictate the flow.

As previously reported, Stretch and Bob returned to their home on Columbia University's WKCR last October for a widely celebrated on-air reunion. A new WKCR policy mandating radio hosts to be enrolled at Columbia University drove the final nail in the show's coffin.
The Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show ran from 1990 to 1998 and helped launch the careers of several hip-hop stars, including Nas, Busta Rhymes, and The Notorious B.I.G. –Henry Adaso
