Slum Village Is Donating Proceeds From New Project To J Dilla’s Kids

Slum Village’s new J Dilla-produced single, “Yes Yes,” premiered just over a week ago and has since amassed nearly 100K plays on Soundcloud. Today, Slum Village and Yancey Media Group in conjunction with Jay Dee's family has announced that all of the proceeds from the track will go directly to Dilla’s children.

“I would like to thank everyone for the love and support and Slum Village and Yancey Media Group for donating the proceeds from this single to Dilla’s daughters,” said Joylette, mother to Dilla's youngest daughter, Ja' May Yancey.
