Sources have revealed to the New York Post that Rick Rubin will be listed as executive producer on Kanye West's sixth solo album Yeezus. The legendary producer and founder of Def Jam Records has reportedly been pulled into the album's recording process last minute to help Kanye put the finishing touches on the the release. "Even by Kanye West standards this is pushing it," said the Post's unnamed source, who claims Kanye was still working on the album as recently as last week, after mixed reviews of the album's first releases surfaced. Def Jam executives have also reportedly been dealing with an uncleared sample used on "Onsite," which Kanye debuted last night at New York's Governors Ball music festival. Looks like Yeezus is going to be a race to the finish line, and we're not surprised one bit.
