Rick Ross hit Houston’s Arena Theater last night (October 25) as part of his “Boss of All Bosses” Tour. Wearing a fresh out the package plain black tee, crispy Levi’s, black hi-top Louis Vuitton kicks, and, count ‘em, four iced-out black Jesus piece necklaces [view on page 2], Rozay stealthily stalked his way onto the stage. Skipping the pleasantries, he set off a boom in the room with “MC Hammer” and "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)," two of the biggest singles from his latest LP, Teflon Don.

Backed up by Maybach Music members Masspike Miles and Gunplay, the Carol City Don then went into a series of his guest verses on Waka Flocka’s “O Let’s Do It (Remix),” DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” and “Diddy’s “Hello Good Morning.”

“Let’s smoke one for my nigga Pimp C,” said the Bawse before keeping it rolling with the Ne-Yo assisted “Super High.” Female fans, still on their feet at this point, cat called the portly MC as if he were a bonafide sex symbol, prompting them to sing Drake’s verse on his latest hit, “Aston Martin Music,” to which they obliged in various levels of pitch.

The Miami MC then took it back to 2006 with his first chart-topping single, “Hustlin’” before turning over the keys to the ‘Bach to embattled Houston rapper Trae the Truth, who performed “Inkredible” from his latest release, Can’t Ban Tha Truth.

There was a painfully obvious lull in the energy from the audience when Ross let his boys Miles and Gunplay get some shine for a few tracks, but the capacity crowd was electro shocked back into coherence when the Bugatti Boy went acapella for the Teflon Don opener, “I’m Not A Star.”

Ricky then unexpectedly performed "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" again before ending his set with the Triple C’s collabo, “Walking On Water.”

Next up for Ross is Thursday’s show at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center in Florida with Waka Flocka, Khaled and special guest Juvenile. After that he will be embarking on his international Blowing Money Fast Tour. Set to kick off on November 5 in Springfield, MA, according to allhiphop.com, the Def Jam rapper will then go on to make stops throughout North America, Europe Africa and the Caribbean, until January 15. —Maurice Bobb
