Influenced by genres outside of hip-hop, this Flatbush native delivers solid bars and hooks with ease. Before By Any Dreams Necessary drops this summer, get in tune with NY’s budding lyricist.

Name: The Incomparable Shakespeare

Age: Grown man

Hometown: East Flatbush, Brooklyn

I grew up listening to: Funkmaster Flex and Bobby Konders on Hot 97, and Stretch and Bobbito on 89.9 in New York City.

Most people don't know I: am influenced heavily by other other genres of music especially reggae, soca, and alternative rock. I'm trying to do records with Dave Grohl, Beres Hammond and Machel Montano.

My style's been compared to: Jay-Z, Black Thought, and everything you love.

My standout records and/or moments to date have been: Meeting and building with people who I've always admired. I recently had the chance to sit down with Salaam Remi, who's a creative genius in my opinion, and one of my favorite producers. I also met Jay recently, which was dope because he's arguably the best to ever do it.

My goal in Hip-Hop is: To preserve the culture, establish a lasting legacy, and create music that will define people’s lives.

I'm gonna be the next: Fuck next anything, I'm going to be the first Incomparable Shakespeare.
