And just like that, the latest version of Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" is here. Today (July 12), the rapper unloads his Young Thug-assisted remix of "Old Town Road," a track that propelled Nas X to rap superstardom.

The latest of edition of the record-breaking single also features viral teen sensation Mason Ramsey, also known as the “The Walmart Yodeling Boy” for his widely-seen YouTube videos. The basis of the song remains the same with verses from Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. Thugger adds his own flair to the track on the third verse.

"Maserati ridin', got a V12 for my bride (Skrrt)/Foggy rocky road, got a three-wheeler inside (Ayy)," raps Thugger, who hit the road with J. Cole for the rapper's KOD Tour last year. "All I wanna do is take a pill, catch a chill vibe/Real prince, I'm realer than the real don."

Ramsey brings up the rear with new bars. "Hop up in my RZR, got a thousand acres/Right up on the cows where they pray that it don't faze her/I-O, I-O, yippee-yo ka-yay/If you ain't got no giddy up then giddy out my way," the kids spits.

The remix is one that's been teased since April. It's also something that marks the moment Lil Nas X gets to work with one of his heroes. Speaking with Time in March, the rapper credited Young Thug for helping pioneer country-trap.

“The song is country trap. It’s not one, it’s not the other. It’s both. It should be on both [charts],” Nas X said of "Old Town Road" in the interview. “I believe whenever you’re trying something new, it’s always going to get some kind of bad reception. For example, when rap started, or when rock and roll began. But with country trap, I in no way want to take credit for that. I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that.”
