ScHoolboy Q is finally gearing up to release his third studio album, and he's kicking it off with "Numb Numb Juice," which appears to be the first single from the project.

Checking in at just a bit under two minutes, "Numb Numb Juice," which dropped at midnight on Thursday (March 14), is a high-octane ride that finds Q at his most menacing. Spitting with pace, ScHoolboy lets loose a series of amped-up threats as he spits over a hard-hitting beat.

“Two-door coupe hoppin’ out like Jack in the box/Nigga I’m gonna shoot if thirty’s all that I got/Nigga time’s up, I got my coins up, my bars up," he raps on the song.

In the video for the song, which was dropped just about 12 hours after the track itself hit the internet, ScHoolboy dropped off its corresponding video. The visual features different clips of the California rapper either hopping in his whip to go on a drive-by or smoking inside of a lush mansion. All in all, it's pretty dope.

The new single comes after ScHoolboy teased new music on Tuesday (March 12). For his special message, Q kept things simple, simply uploading a video of himself cooking up in the studio. Of course, his new single also points toward Q's new album coming soon.

Back in July, Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith announced that Q's album was "90 to 95 % done." That announcement came nearly a full year after Q himself said the album was "90% done." (Turns out, that was "fake news," according to Top Dawg.) Q's new album will follow 2016's Blank Face LP, which features appearances from Kanye West, Jadakiss, Vince Staples, E-40, SZA, Miguel and more. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and went on to be certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
