Gucci Mane never stops. During an appearance Thursday (Aug. 9) on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, the East Atlanta icon dropped a new song "Kept Back" featuring Lil Pump, while sharing new information about his forthcoming album Evil Genius.

The single, produced by Murda Beatz, lends the first verse to Pump, who opens with a frantic survey of his cash and jewelry collection. The "Esskeetit" spitter sounds unusually energized.

"Got a lot of ice on my neck man/Damn man, hundred bands hangin' on my backpack/Wrist so cold need a ice pack/Put four hundred bands in the mic stand/Woke up in the morning, bought a Maybach," he raps.

Guwop, for his part, namedrops Ben Simmons, Cher, Bono, Nelly Furtado and Marge Simpson in a series of amused boasts about his success.

"Nigga keep mixin' with the music/Baby you a human jacuzzi/I'ma trust a bitch like a Rubick's/I might turn my book into a movie," he spits.

During Lowe's interview, Gucci offered details about what to expect from Evil Genius, which will be his first full-length since December's El Gato: The Human Glacier. He said he's "been putting everything into this album" and hopes to release the music and tour on its behalf before the end of the year.

The project will Offset, Quavo, 21 Savage, Kevin Gates and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, in addition to Pump, to whom La Flare paid a compliment. "Yeah, this is going to be a second song I drop off of Evil Genius," Guwop shares, speaking on their collab "Kept Back." I dropped ‘Solitaire' first, with the video with Yachty and the Migos…  I like Pump. I just feel like they got a lot of energy. I like the way they promote themselves. I’m a big fan of Pump I think he be flowing. They makes good music so I wanted to collab with them. They’re dope." The 2018 XXL Freshman previously popped up in the album's official trailer.

Gucci also has joint mixtape with Wiz Khalifa and is reportedly working on another joint project with 1017 Eskimo Records' latest signee Asian Doll. You can listen to "Kept Back" featuring Lil Pump below.
