Key Glock Pops Off on New Song "Orville Redenbacher"

Key Glock is back with a new song, "Orville Redenbacher," his first single since his February-released mixtape, Glock Bond.

The track, released on May 17, reunites Glock with fellow Memphis phenom Tay Keith, whose production underlays several of the rapper's emergent hits, including Glock's last single, "Russian Creme."

Over an icy monotone synth line and Tay Keith's typically thunderous 808s, Glock gravels playful boasts with sneaky precision.

"Uh, balling just because/Duh, every chain at least a dub/Yeah, walking in I make it flood/Duh, in the club I got my slug/With some crips and bloods, duh, yeah, they show me love/Nigga you's a scrub, huh, yeah, you just a dud," he raps, the internal rhyme sounding effortless.

He also drops off his new video for "Big Glock," where he hits the Big Apple. "You know they call me Big Glock, lil' bitch/Yeah, my swag drip, make a bitch wanna lick/All these niggas pissed, you know Big Glock, I'm the shit," he delivers.

Despite Glock breaking his leg in February and performing in a wheelchair the same night, the new single and video is proof enough that the rising rapper is not slowing down. In the time since Glock Bond was released, he has also dropped a standout "Who Run It" freestyle and shared a video for "Russian Creme."

In March, Glock spoke to XXL for The Break and revealed that he signed to Young Dolph's label Paper Route Empire with the help of his aunt (Dolph is Glock's cousin through marriage.) "She's like, 'You need to take him under yo' wing,'" Glock shared of what his family member told Dolph. "'He going down the wrong route; put him on the paper route!'"
