G Herbo Teams Up With Southside for New Song “Focused”

G Herbo is looking to heat up the summer with another potential banger on his hands. On the heels of releasing his Lil Uzi Vert-assisted "Who Run It (Remix)," the Chicago spitter teams up with Southside behind the boards to unleash the bristling "Focused" on Wednesday (May 23). Herbo also delivered a raw visual coinciding with the track.

The 22-year-old closes out the hard-hitting tune exuding a refreshed outlook on life since the birth of his baby boy with Ariana Fletcher and abbreviated jail stint stemming from a weapons charge. "Tell all my real niggas, 'stay focused' /All my niggas fightin' time, stay focused/If you do it for the five, stay focused/Tryna slam a lil' cuz, they bogus/Out my room window, see lakes and the ocean/Member couldn't sleep, seein' rats and roaches," he brashly rhymes.

The Ashani-directed visual finds Herbo chilling out at his lavish home enjoying a relaxed smoking session with some friends. The clip pivots to G riding around in exotic whips while flexing stacks of cash and a couple of icy chains.

G Herbo evidently has a relationship with Drake, who inspired the Chi-town native to drop his previously mentioned "Who Run It (Remix)" after a complimentary direct message from the 6 God. Herbo also recently teased a snippet of his remix to Drizzy's Lauryn Hill-sampling "Nice For What" smash in an Instagram video (May 18). "ITS HOT AS FUCK IN THE STU IMA DROP THIS ASAP," he captioned.
