Keeping in tune with the dreamy vocals characteristic of his recent releases, Madeintyo croons to a lover on his new single "Love You Down."

Love is clearly in the air for the former XXL Freshman, whose last track titled "Showin' Love" dropped just last month. It's unclear who the lucky lady in his life is, though it's likely his fiancee Anhia Santana (a digital artist who goes by the name Distortedd) with whom he shares a 1-year-old son named True. Last year, Madeintyo released an EP inspired by his son titled True's World.

On "Love You Down," Madeintyo sings, "You gon' wait for your nigga/Got it jumpin' like Tigger/Bought you that flight you remember/Never brand new I'm official/It's been years still with ya/And my son's in the picture."

The artist has previously spoken about the significance of being a father, and of his excitement to join the ranks of other XXL Freshmen in the parenting game.

“People dream of this moment and as an artist, as a rapper, even if today you don’t do nothing else after this, this is a staple in hip-hop history to be on the XXL Freshman cover, just off grip," he said. “From right now, every move that I make, I’m geeked for my son to understand what happened or what was going on. Like, ‘My dad was on this cover.’"

Fans are anxiously awaiting a new project from Tyo, who has yet to announce a major project for this year—but scored gold and platinum singles with "I Want" and "Skateboard P," off his 2016 mixtape "You Are Forgiven"—and made a name for himself with his debut single "Uber Everywhere."

The Atlanta-bred rapper has been steadily teasing new music in 2018.

Hopefully "Love You Down" will be the first of many more singles we'll see from Madeintyo this year. Check it out for yourself below.
