Rae Sremmurd Join Jhene Aiko on “Sativa (Remix)”

In 2017, Jhene Aiko linked up with Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd for the song "Sativa" off her Trip album. Now, the R&B songstress recruits the other half of the duo, Slim Jxmmi, for a remix of the track.

"Is it hot in here or is it just me?" Aiko croons in her signature soft voice. "I'm so high in here, been smoking on this weed." Following another verse and hook from Aiko, Slim Jxmmi comes through with a verse of his own.

"She ain't into them guys, who do it miniature (who do it miniature)/I didn't mean to keep on waitin' (I didn't mean to keep on waitin')/I hope I reach your expectations (I hope I reach your expectations)," he raps.

Along with the new song, Aiko is also set to drop a video for "Sativa," which will fittingly release on Monday (Jan. 22) at 4:20 p.m. A special website for the video has been set up with short previews being revealed at different times.

Following an appearance on Aiko's "Sativa," Rae Sremmurd are gearing up for the release of SremmLife3. Announced in early 2017, Swae Lee recently revealed the album is scheduled for a January release, telling Revolt TV, "January for a fact."

Along with the Rae Sremmurd album, Swae Lee is also preparing for the release of his solo project, Swaecation. Last week, the rapper told fans the project would be dropping soon. "Definitely in like, less than a month confirmed," he tweeted.
