OMB Peezy and Sherwood Marty Drop ‘Young & Reckless’ Mixtape

After a breakout year in 2017, which included the release of his Humble Beginnings EP, OMB Peezy is back with a new project for 2018 and gets some help from Sherwood Marty.

The two link up for their Young & Reckless mixtape. The 14-track project features guest appearances from Sherwood Flame and TK Kravitz and includes the previously released single "Crash Out."

Full of auto-tune, twangy guitars and infectious basslines, Young & Reckless finds Peezy and Marty bringing their Alabama and Louisiana roots together as they spit tales of street life.

While Peezy and Marty come from different places, Peezy says the two came from the same struggle. "I wanted to work with Marty on a full project because we come from the same struggle even though we're both from two different places," Peezy said.

As for their lead single, "Crash Out," Peezy says the song represents how the studio session actually went down. "We were all in the studio," the rapper said. "The song basically explains the vibe of that studio session and how we were feeling.
