Big Shaq Taps Krept & Konan, Chip and More for “Mans Not Hot” Remix

Big Shaq's "Mans Not Hot" was one of 2017's surprise hits and now, the British funnyman is looking to capture the same success in 2018 with a new remix.

After riding solo last year, Big Shaq recruits a number of grime stars for a new version of the track. While the song keeps some of Big Shaq's original lyrics, the remix gets new verses from Lethal Bizzle, Chip, Krept & Konan and JME.

Like Big Shaq, Lethal Bizzle keeps things light on the song, rapping, "Five plus five is 10, add a quick M, that's my net worth/Every day I drink shocker, get burse/See your girl in my Rolls, Snapchat, doing thot pose/Two twos, now she in the back, no clothes."

Konan also comes through with the bars, spitting, "Your girl don't wanna let me go, must be the Versace/Now she getting D in a car, listening to Cardi/My young boy got it in a party, 3-6-5 no days off/If I aim it dat way, I'll bet your boys all take off (dat way)."

Big Shaq is the hip-hop alter ego of comedian Michael Dapaah. The character rose to popularity after Dapaah stopped by Charlie Sloth's BBC Radio 1 Rap Show over the summer and dropped a hilarious freestyle that quickly went viral.

XXL caught up with the rapper recently and put his rhyming skills to the test, asking him to read Dr. Seuss' classic, The Cat in the Hat. Big Shaq stumbled out the gate, struggling with the word "shine" but was able to finish strong.
