Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti Drop New Track ''Squad (Firearm)''

A new Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti track titled "Squad (Firearm)" recently surfaced.

The song was initially teased back in April, with a snippet showing up on social media. Now, we get the whole thing. The track was done by Chinatownbeats, and is highlighted by cascading chords and snappy hi-hats. "Spending my money, you goofy/All of my niggas are thug/All of my niggas are loaded/I just broke up with my bit(ch)/I fell in love with my Ruger/I got the power of the vision/Pass me the blunt and i'm hittin it/I whip it I get it," Carti spits on the first verse.

Uzi comes through on the second verse rapping, "Know I gotta keep my firearm/Firearm, firearm, firearm/In my whip I'm flying/Bad girl on my left/Bad bitch on my right arm/Damn your hips, they so high/Yeah, get your height on/Smoke that gas like Shaggy/Told that girl I'm right on."

The frequently-collaborating duo were supposed to be hitting the road together on the 16*29 Tour, but the jaunt has since been postponed. Uzi is riding high after being nominated for Best New Artist at the 2018 Grammys. Carti also recently released a new collab with Pi'erre Bourne titled "Yo Pi'erre," where the two artists rekindle their "Magnolia" magic with a new banger.
