While we wait for Nas' next album, the Queens rapper recently teamed up with English singer Joe Fox for a new version of his song, "What's the Word."

Best known for his work on A$AP Rocky's At.Long.Last.A$AP, Joe Fox says he met Nas at a party. "I met Nas at a GQ magazine party with A$AP Rocky two years ago, when he was playing with Questlove," he said. "And now here we are! Amazing to have him do a verse on one of my songs."

Nas brings his signature style for a quick verse, spitting, "Yo, I am rock-and-roll with bebop, the rebirth of Leopold Stokowski/I be the first to re-work verses so that they sound profoundly loud in a cathedral/I'm surrounded by evil/They brutalize unarmed people/Everybody got this, everybody got that/Everybody's rich, everybody's acting like they pockets is fat."

It's been five years since Nas released his last album, Life is Good. Since then, the rapper was featured on French Montana's MC4 and DJ Khaled's Major Key for the song "Nas Album Done."

In related Nas news, the rapper has recently been linked to fellow Queens rapper, Nicki Minaj. Earlier this month, the two were spotted getting close at Nas' 44th birthday party and according to new reports, they've been dating since May.

According to E! Online, a source said Minaj "is not the type to date around" and said the two "are still getting to know each other." The May timeline coincides with photos Nicki began posting of the two, which sparked the dating rumors.
