Cardi B’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ Gets Remix Treatment From DJ Afterthought and JRab

Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" is quickly turning into a huge anthem across the country, and it's swfity making its way up to the top of the charts. As the single just broke the top 10 and sits at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, DJ Afterthought is giving it the remix treatment.

Riff Raff's touring DJ and producer drops the unofficial EDM remix to the hit record, featuring production from himself and JRAB. EDM fans may want to add to this track to their playlists. Afterthought reveals that the two producers wanted to put some extra energy into the highly-successful song, which could help the track to blend perfectly into a broader audience at festivals and concerts.

“Wanted to get some extra energy into an already amazing track so it can be mixed into any club or festival situation flawlessly," DJ Afterthought tells XXL.

DJ Afterthought recently teamed up with Riff Raff for the release of the rapper's The White West album earlier this month.

As for Cardi B, her hit "Bodak Yellow" is the highest-charting song by a female rapper unaccompanied on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" single since 2014. She just broke into the top 10 this week, resulting in her being the top female rapper to crack the bracket since Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" in 2014.
