A$AP Twelvyy releases his first single "Strapped" from his upcoming debut project. No word if this is from his mixtape, 2127301090which he teased last year. XXL has reached out to reps for clarity.

The Harlem native is rapping his ass off on this new single, spitting about his journey to get to this point. The track, which is produced by A$AP P on the Boards, uses a beautiful sample from Sampha's "Beneath The Tree."

"Had to duck a few/Now I'm at the W/Probably light up a few/If I'm feeling comfortable," he raps.

"'Strapped' was a labor of love," says the A$AP MC. "That's a movie I've been starring in my whole life. It's only right I begin this next chapter with the super hero origin story."

The record was even recognized by Kendrick Lamar, who tweeted out the song when it was released. There isn't any release date for A$AP Twelvyy's debut project but it should drop this year.

In other A$AP Mob news, the crew is prepping the second volume in their Cozy Tapes series. Less than a year after A$AP Mob delivered their Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 project, they are beginning to tease their new project. In a new 30 second Instagram post, the Harlem collective recently previewed a new song off the upcoming project. They previously dropped the video for their “Wrong” record, which was produced by Harry Fraud, and released “Please Don’t Touch My Raf.”
