Cardi B continues to get better when it comes to her music. The Bronx native is back with her new song, "Bodak Yellow," the first single following her Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2 project. On the new track, which is produced by J. White Did It, Cardi is done being humble. She sets the record straight about why she's a boss.

"Now she says she gon' do what to who?/Let's find out and see, Cardi B/You know where I'm at/You know where I be/You in the club just to party/I'm there, I get paid a fee/I be in and out them banks so much/I know they're tired of me/Honestly, don't give a fuck/'Bout who ain't fond of me/Dropped two mixtapes in six months/What bitch working as hard as me," Cardi raps.

The new track comes after Cardi B’s two BET Award nominations for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best New Artist as well as her first performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam.

Some folks have tried to discredit Cardi B's newfound success as an MC but she set the record straight in a Twitter video she posted last month.

“A lot of y’all men, I be getting a lot of backlashes and fucked up backlashes, and it be from y’all niggas, especially because I used to be a stripper," says Cardi.

She continues, “Your fucking favorite rapper used to work in places like McDonalds my nigga. At least everything that I rap about is real life shit. I always been a staticky bitch and I always been a bitch that got it popping. Your favorite rapper is not like that. Your favorite rapper is not a gangsta. Your favorite rapper raps about drugs that he never even touched before. So what is y’all even talking about?"
