Stro is one of the most talented artists in hip-hop. Not just because he's a good MC but because he's wise beyond his years and is a phenomenal threat. After a long hiatus due to his acting schedule, the Brooklyn rapper drops "Only on Apps," a lyrical showcase that finds Stro rapping about mumble rap and everything that's wrong with social media.

"I get shit for free, fuck a salary/Matter of fact, take it back. Love a salary/Stack the tree, I can live happily/But I do it for the youngins coming after me/Leave a whole lotta A&Rs mad at me/Cause I be coming at mumble rap constantly/It ain't hard to see, that shit haunting me/Niggas talking about clothes productively/Need to put a spin on it like lingerie," raps Stro.

The former X-Factor contestant hasn't released a project since Best By Far dropped early last year but hopefully that will change soon. He recently performed an unreleased song titled "Online Dating" for the Colors' series.

It's no question that Stro can rap. Last year, he delivered one of the best freestyles of the year while on Shade 45’s ShowOff Radio Show hosted by Statik Selektah. For seven minutes, he drops bars over A Tribe Called Quest’s “Excursions,” Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm,” Nas’ “Made You Look” and Gang Starr’s “Mass Appeal.”
