Goldlink celebrates the one-year anniversary of his debut album And After That, We Didn’t Talk with a new song titled "See I Miss Pt. 2" featuring Marsha Ambrosius. The new track is the second part to the outro of AATWDT. "See I Miss Pt. 2" was premiered by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show and Saint Heron. The former XXL Freshman spoke about what Marsha provided for the new record.

"I just think the perspective just expanded in a major way," he said in a recent interview. "Marsha added a certain balance and flavor to the song that only a woman could provide and it sounds great. A lot of people make songs about relationships and it’s really one-sided. You don’t always get to have another creative with a fundamentally different outlook and approach add to it in a genuine way. So I’m really grateful this was able to happen.

He also looked back at why And After That, We Didn’t Talk and what he wants fans know get now that the LP is one year old.

"This is just a personal memoir of self," GoldLink added. "I happened to be dating the woman who spoke Tagalog on “Spectrum” while recording it. I made “See I Miss” about Kali Uchis. I made “Palm Trees” for Chloe Grace Moretz. I made “Polarized” about Jaycina (now 6LACK’s girlfriend). I made “Dark Skin Women” for the beautiful black women who I think aren’t acknowledged and represented nearly enough.

The DMV native previously released "Untitled" with Isaiah Rashad, "Rough Soul" with April George and "Fall In Love" with Ciscero.
