Los Angeles singer SiR is back with another collection a melodic consciousness just in time for the weekend. Inglewood's own keeps things short and sweet with the new EP Her today (Oct. 7). The new 6-track EP boasts production by J. Lbs, D.K. the Punisher, Andre Harris, Chris Dave, Tre Push, Jonah Christian and Mississippi's own Big K.R.I.T. stands as the only feature, kicking things off on the first track, "Cadillac Dreams," which fans originally heard in June. Her serves as the official follow up to SiR's 2015 project, the soulful Seven Sundays.

Preceding the project, SiR dropped videos for "Queen" and "Tricky" off the EP, showcasing the vibe of the whole project.

If his words seem familiar, it's because SiR has actually had years in the music business. He started off behind the boards as an engineer and has penned songs for Tyrese and Bilal. But make no mistake, the soft spoken crooner is definitely one to watch in the coming months. The 29-year-old talked to Fact Mag before dropping Seven Sundays last year about why he decided now is the time to emerge from the shadows as his own artist.

“As a writer sometimes you’re just writing, creating for the sake of creating and it got to the point where I had a whole bunch of records I loved and they weren’t placed, they weren’t finding homes,” said SiR. “I thought it’d be best to put them out for people to hear, just to get a response. There were two projects, before Seven Sundays, and I got a great response and nothing but love and support since I started to pursue that path as an artist.”
