The world may not be any closer to hear Jay Electronica's debut album, but he is still popping up with new verses from time to time. The reclusive MC's latest appearance comes via Scottish singer Emeli Sande's new song "The Garden."

"'Garden’ is one of my favorite songs from [my] album,” Emeli Sande said. “It is an expression of freedom and passion, two important parts of life, which I hadn't really explored until a few years ago. It was a great honor to work with the genius Jay Electronica and I'm very excited to introduce a very special talent, Áine Zion."

Jay Electronica proves he still commands words with deft and precision on this guest spot. The New Orleans native shows out on his lone verse for the single.

"Once upon a time ago/I threw my cautions to the wind, my friend and yelled Geronimo/And rode the wings of love to outer space, but then I fell a thousand miles to Guantanamo/Euphoria to torture/I left a note that had a rhyme, it go/Love is like a Ferris wheel/Love is like a roller coaster/Love is at a standstill/Body after body after body, it's a landfill/And I just caught a body in the lobby and got my hands filled," Jay Electronica raps.

"The Garden" will appear on Emeli Sande’s upcoming album Long Live The Angels, which is scheduled to drop on Nov. 11. You can pre-order the LP now on iTunes.
