Getting out from your brother's shadow is a common narrative in entertainment, and, well, in life itself. But for Chicago's Taylor Bennett, being the younger brother of Chance The Rapper has been nothing less than a blessing. And to show his undying appreciation for his brother, Taylor made it a point to rap for Chance while he was on Sway in the Morning recently. The song ended up on Soundcloud today (Aug. 1) and shows Taylor in a vulnerable yet courageous light. Taylor lets loose a nasally rap of storytelling in syncopated syntax. It's definitely reminiscent of Chano's early raps.

"That's a special track. That's for my brother, Chance," said Taylor at the tail end of his three-minute performance. "Without him, none of this shit would be possible. And I don't mean that on some rap shit, I just mean that on some like...that's my brother, he saved me from a lot of shit. There's a lot of shit in Chicago."

Back in 2014, Taylor was arrested for aggravated battery after stemming from a fight he was involved in at a college party. Since then, the younger Bennett has stayed low and focused on his music, dropping his independent album Broad Shoulders at the end of 2015. During the same stop at Sway in the Morning, the baby Bennett made history by upping the ante of Sway's "5 Fingers of Death" freestyle challenge to "10 Fingers of Death."
