Chicago's Mick Jenkins and Milwaukee's Webster X are feeling "Blinded" on their newest track courtesy of oddCouple. The banger dropped on Soundcloud yesterday (Aug. 23) and is perfect for encapsulating that end-of-summer vibe. oddCouple's bass-thumping tune plays with synths while Webster and Mick trade bars about finding their clarity.

"Niggas love it so they had to hate it/I could tell their feelings fabricated/I could really give a fuck though/These days all my niggas been emancipated," raps Jenkins.

"Blinded" is slated to serve as the first single off oddCouple's upcoming project Liberation. The Midwest producer just dropped a collection of his own personal favorites last month called season2 premiere with vocals from Joey Purps, Kweku Collins and Jamila Woods.

oddCouple said in a statement that the point of this new track is to "showcase of these amazing artists who have the same mindset as mine, and are truly homies."

"WebsterX is one of my best friends in the music game, and also from Milwaukee," he explained. "We just see eye to eye and have so much in common, his narrative feels like mine. And Mick Jenkins is one of the best from Chicago who values these same ideals. With the combo of the two it’s so powerful to make something fun, personal, and thought-provoking.”

Meanwhile, Jenkins is gearing up to drop his own debut album, [T]he [H]ealing [C]omponent, on Sept. 23. The Chicago spitter has been buzzing as one of Chi Town's best representatives for years now and with three projects under his belt, fans can't for the full length debut. Jenkins will also be hitting the road next month for a 12-date tour with St. Louis' Smino.
