Skizz is set to drop his sophomore album Cruise Control on July 29. Today (July 20), the Boston-born DJ unleashes a new track featuring Conway and Roc Marciano called "Bosses," which will appear on the new project.

The three-and-a-half minute song features production from both Skizz and Frank Dukes. In a brief statement, Skizz tells XXL about the sound of his newest body of work.

"Cruise Control is a progression for me sonically. It’s still that raw boom-bap, but Cruise Control is a bit more slick and melodious," says Skizz. "'Bosses' is one of my personal favorite songs off the album. I made the beat with my friend Frank Dukes, [who has worked for] Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Selena Gomez etc, after I came back from a trip to the Dominican Republic and had bought a bunch of records."

He continues, "We listened to a stack of them in my studio and made a few beats, one of which was this 'Bosses' beat. Eventually two of the best emcees out - Roc Marci and Conway - blessed it. I have worked with Roc Marciano prior on my B.Q.E. album, [on the song] "Light Years," but this was my first time working with Conway, who is becoming one of my favorite emcees."

Meanwhile, Conway tells XXL, "When I first heard the beat it reminded me of that raw street shit the people love - that grimy sound."

As aforementioned, Cruise Control will arrive on July 29 via Different Worlds Music Group/Fatbeats. The album will contain verses from artists such as Masta Ace, Havoc and the late Sean Price. Also featured on the project are newcomers including Your Old Droog, Conway and Hus Kingpin.

Cruise Control is now available for pre-order on iTunes for $9.99. You can listen to "Bosses" above via SoundCloud. Keep it locked to XXL for more music from DJ Skizz.
