Cali-based rap/singer KR follows up the release of his new EP with the video for the single "Complicated."

Directed by Anthony Supreme, the treatment for the love song finds KR booed up. In the beginning, things are all good. It's all fun and games with the couple smiling, laughing, fooling around and taking selfies.

But as all relationship do, things start to get real. Toward the middle of the clip things have gotten complicated with KR and his girl barely talking. When they do, an argument usually ensues.

The song appears on KR's most recent project And It Begins. The five-song EP contains a guest appearance from MaryLand Lavon and production from Tim Suby, DJ Camper, DemJointz, Fayo & Chill and Haze. That was the followup to his 2014 I$0LYF3 3 mixtape.

XXL caught wind of the West Coast artist prior to the release of his I$0LYF3 2 project in 2013.

He had a clear vision of his place in the game when we spoke with him saying he wanted, "To bring hope to all the people out there with no voice."

"Complicated," which plays on the strength it takes to make it through the ups and downs of a relationship, is something most people can relate to. Having relatable content is something KR strives for. "Sometimes artists forget that their music is therapy for their fans who may be going through something, whether it be struggle, depression, or just a bad day," he said. "I want to touch all my fans with every lyric, beat, video and performance."
