Philthy Rich and G Herbo lay down crazy bars on "59 To 79." Oakland meets Chicago as Rich and Herbo team up and rap about their come up. "59 To 79" is off of Philthy Rich's upcoming project Hood Rich 4, which is hosted by Birdman and mixed by DJ Rack. It's due out August 17. Order the single on iTunes here.

"Remember I used to live with my third grade teacher/Nowadays it's $5,000 for a feature/Keep the hammer on me like that bitch legal/Foreign outside I used to drive a Regal/Caught a court case then I set it done/Caught a pistol case then I set it down/Interrogation room I never made a sound," raps Philthy. The Oakland native has been working hard lately and been dropping some fire music. With "59 To 79" he doesn't disappoint.

“Oakland has strong ties to cities like Detroit, Houston, and Chicago because we’re in tune with what’s going on in each others’ cities," Rich told XXL. "G-Herbo had a show in the Bay so he hit me up and after the show, we hit the studio. The song is named after the blocks we’re from in our hometowns. We want to represent where was was from. Our blocks have a lot of the same shit going on.

The next couple of months will be pretty great for Philthy Rich fans. He's dropping his collaborative album American Greed with MMG's Yowda on July 29, Hood Rich 4 on Aug. 17 and Political Ties LP with fellow Bay Area native Mozzy on Sept. 9.
