Lil Durk and Yo Gotti link up for Durk's latest single "Money Walk." Freshly pressed, the new track dropped today (June 17) just weeks before the release of Durk's sophomore album, Durk 2X. Showing how well Chicago and Memphis can mesh, the MCs sound right at home rapping about making their paper move. Clearly, actions speak louder than words: "Walkin like I got money, I do the money walk!/Real nigga with a lot of bands let the money talk."

After originally teasing it as a mixtape on social media, the Chicago MC and former XXL Freshman announced earlier this month Durk 2X would be his official sophomore LP released under Def Jam Recordings. With features from heavy hitters like Future, Ty Dolla $ign and his girl, DeJ Loaf, Durk's second album is scheduled to drop on June 24.

Ahead of the album release, XXL caught up with the Chi-Town star to see how he's grown as an artist since his debut album Remember My Name and what's different about Durk 2X.

"You got to want to evolve. It’s something you can practice on but it just came to me. I wasn’t really sitting there like, What can I do to get better? It just came to me, talking to my people and my crew. They just tell me what my strongest and weakest points are at. So whatever be my weakest points, I work on. Then they say, “Dang, they improved.” I be moving along so fast like, Damn, I did."
