When it comes to West Coast flows, few are as tough and automatic as Nispey Hussle's. His new track "Basic Instinct" with G. Perico for example is barely a minute and a half long, and yet, it's pure cinder block rap, with the two trading 16s that neither budge nor flinch in their lyrical grit.

Getting things stated on the Mars & Mike and Keys produced track, Nip references the newly announced Harriet Tubman $20 bills and raps with his trademark tenacity, recounting crime and violence with a cavalier approach. "Double back ten minutes later Big C / Bullets start flying by a nigga, that’s a sick breeze / While I’m here, take a pic please / You know legends die young rest in peace Prince and Pimp C / From the block to the big leagues / Self-made millionaire white America ain’t pimp me," he raps.

The new track comes just a few weeks after Nipsey dropped "Thug Life" with Young Thug, and keeps his "Marathon Mondays" going with a new drop to start off the week. On SoundCloud, the track is likewise tagged "Victory Lap" which has been the reported title of Nipsey's next album for a few years now.

In early 2014, Nipsey said of the project, "‘Victory’ is like you won, so the question is, what? What did you win? I think that the songs go into that. It’s just about reaching a place in myself. I think everybody’s trying to get to a place in themselves where they conquer what they was afraid of, they achieve some of their life goals, kept their word about what they were trying to do. That’s what the album is about.”
