It looks like a new Chief Keef project might be right around the corner. The Chicago rapper has been busy over the past few days, posting snippets to new tracks on his YouTube channel. So far, there have been eight snippets released via YouTube.

The snippets are a mix of collaborations with acclaimed producer Zaytoven and some self-produced records by Chief Keef. The Zaytoven crafted tracks that have been released are "Opponent," "Adam and Eve" and "Yeah Yeah Yeah." The records Chief Keef produced on his own include "Hit the Floor," "Binoculars," "Whoa," "Pursuit of Liberty" and "So What." The Glo Gang rapper did get some help from CB on the cuts "Whoa" and "Pursuit of Liberty."

These eight snippets appear to be a sign that Chief Keef is ready end his relatively quiet 2016 and start making some noise this year. The Chicago native has dropped a couple of music videos and occasionally popped up with some new tracks in this first half of 2016. One of those songs included the Zaytoven produced "Check It Out," which Keef released a snippet for last year.

In reality, Chief Keef's been making more headlines for his exploits outside of music than in it. The "Don't Like" rapper has been seen consoling a crying fan at a show and giving another the shirt off his back. Keef has also found himself owing some money for skipping a show last year. The dollar amount probably doesn't mean much to the rapper these days as he's currently living it up in a new mansion.
