Mass Appeal Records is set to release a new J Dilla album called The Diary on Friday (April 15), but one of the most anticipated collaborations from the project has already arrived. After debuting the song at the 2016 SXSW Festival, Nas unveils he and J Dilla's track "The Sickness" in CDQ.

It's great to hear the song as it's meant to be heard with the two legends sounding right at home on the Madlib production. Jay Dee kicks off the record with his undeniable swagger.

"I got the MJ disease cause MCs wanna be me/If I spit anything it’s gonna be heat/Cause Dilla Dog a one of a kind n---a/Killing 'em all for the rhyme, motherfucking son of a nine n---a/If I pull a chain out in the sun it’ll blind n---as/First thing that come to your mind when you think of hardcore/Taking cuts to the front of the line/I break blunts, fill 'em up and they firing, take puffs," J Dilla raps.

"The Sickness" will be included as an iTunes exclusive on The Diary. The latest posthumous release from J Dilla features a lot of interesting guests with Boogie, Snoop Doog and Kokane among those contributing to the LP. Check out the full tracklist below.
