Kevin Abstract teams up with Allan Kingdom on the new song "Slit My Wrist."

The slow spacey track finds the Texas native crooning over subdued production highlighted by haunting bells and dreamlike chords. As the verses come in, levels are kicked up a notch with rolling bass and hi-hats punctuating the 16s. The theme of the track is not to give in to the naysayers who hate on your situation, and keep pushing until goals are achieved.

This isn't the first time Kev and AK have linked up. The two previously worked together on the track "The Potion" earlier this year. That track was a slow burn, mixed with some major bump as well. They also teamed together on the older song "Already."

Earlier this year, Ab dropped the song "Cut Out" released in celebration of the Easter holiday. That one featured the unorthodox artist singing over an acoustic guitar driven soundtrack.

All songs aside, suicide is becoming a serious issue among the Black community. According to a 2015 CNN report, suicide rates among African American children have doubled in the last two decades, while rates among White kids in the same age group has seen a dip. So, yeah. If you ever feel like life isn't worth living, find positive motivation in songs such as this one or get some help. Beleive us, nothing is worth going out like that.
