Two days after announcing the release date of his sophomore LP Always Strive and Prosper and dropping a snippet of his new single, A$AP Ferg let's go of "Let it Bang" featuring ScHoolboy Q. You can watch the video above.

Shouting out his gun-toting Uncle Psycho, Ferg recounts his childhood days of seeing his grandmother hide a gun under the mattress from the Wu-Tang-obsessed uncle. After a too-long break from dropping music, ScHoolboy returns with a hard verse that only raises expectations for his upcoming album.

Ferg first announced the album at the end of last year and said that the LP would drop in January. The first month of the year came and went, but we did not get the project. However, Ferg has been dropping music and news regarding the project on a steady basis during the first quarter. The “Work” rapper said Chuck D, DJ Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign and Swizz Beatz will make guest appearances on the project. His “New Level”single featuring Future has been getting radio spins and the rapper has set a high bar for Always Strive and Prosper.

“It’s going to be very real this album. This album is a story of my life,” he told Revolt. “It’s basically a documentary of my life and it’s very personal. Honestly, it’s my best work yet and I don’t even know what else I’ma do to top this in the future because it’s just my all right now.”

Always Strive and Prosper drops April 22.
