The tsunami is here. French Montana drops his new mixtape, Wave Gods, hosted by the incarcerated inventor of the "wave" Max B.

The project, which the Bronx rapper calls his "best work," was announced earlier this week and debuted last night (Feb. 19) by DJ Khaled on his Beats 1 radio show We the Best Radio. The 12-song project contains a collage of dope guest appearances including Future, Nas, Kanye West, Travi$ Scott, Big Sean, Puff, Jadakiss, A$AP Rocky and the late Chinx. It also features the previously released track "Sanctuary 2."

We are still waiting patiently on Montana's sophomore album, Mac & Cheese: The , but he gets a pass for being able to get Max B on the tape.

Max has been locked up for the last seven years for a robbery kidnapping, but his aura has been brought back to prominence recently with Kanye West temporarily naming his new album Waves. Wiz Khalifa, who is a big Charlie fan, took exception to the move and called 'Ye out on Twitter, kicking off a whole firestorm of events.

West later changed the name to The Life of Pablo, but was able to get Max on the "Silver Surfer Interlude" surely with the help of French Montana. Strangely, West didn't even know who Max B was until recently.

With chances looking slim that he will come home anytime soon despite appeals, we're sure the former Dipset affiliate appreciates all the love.
