It's a new day and a new opportunity for Iggy Azalea to defend herself. After taking to Twitter on Thursday (Jan. 21) to call out her label for failing to properly back her latest track "Azillion" with a video, the Australian rapper was back on the social media platform early Friday (Jan. 22) answering questions about Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's new track, "White Privilege II."

On the song, which dropped around midnight of the same evening, Macklemore discuses being white amidst black protestors and musicians and considers the impact of his own success and popularity. On it, he raps, “You’ve exploited and stolen the music, the moment, the magic, the passion the fashion, you toy with/The culture was never, yours to make better/You’re Miley, you’re Elvis, you’re Iggy Azalea.”

When asked if she had heard the track, which a fan describes as containing an Iggy diss, the rapper responded by writing, "he shouldn't have spent the last 3 yrs having friendly convos and taking pictures together at events etc if those were his feelings." She goes on to affirm that she doesn't care about the line, and said to a fan "people are going to like whoever they want so, let them. :-)."

While all of this is happening in real, internet-era time, it is likely that Macklemore will make some comment clarifying the reference as something other than a diss. After all, he does juxtapose himself to Azalea in the song, so could it be considered a self-diss as well? Check out Iggy's tweets below and listen to "White Privilege II" and determine the intent of the line for yourself.
