Mac Miller is closing the year out on some different ish. After announcing a collaborative project with Metro Boomin and dropping a Billy Joel cover, Mac puts his best producer foot forward with a new 27-minute instrumental. "Run on Sentences, Volume Two" follows up 2013's original with a spacey out-there collection of distorted voices and merging sounds.

2015 has marked a return to form for Mac, as he dropped his first studio album, GO:OD AM, in over two years. Mac followed up the drop with a lengthy worldwide tour that he had to cut short due to exhaustion. It was a health-minded move from the rapper who has battled substance abuse and depression in recent years. The improved Mac is hopefully around to stay, as GO:OD AM is one of XXL's 20 favorite albums of the year.
