Is 2016 Dreezy's time to shine? The Chicago rapper is tuning up for a breakout year, and what better way than to kick things off with a project for the new year. Dreezy adds some spark to the game with a new 5-song EP titled From Now On.

The follow up EP to Call It What You Want which dropped in July, FNO is exclusively produced by premier Atlanta beat makers Metro Boomin and Southside. The project apparently came about off a vibe. Currently working on her debut album, Dree linked up with the two hit makers and decided to put out a project of some of their collabs before the true LP.

"I feel like I have a versatile style so I challenge myself to do different things," she said about the project. "I'm trying new things all the time. I was really in the process of completing my album, and my A&R Dash and Pusha Rod introduced me to Southside and Metro Boomin. We made our first song and it was hype."

The EP features the DeJ Loaf collab "Serena" which she dropped the video for just a few days ago. The project is unapologeticallly gangster which matches with its overall dark tone. Last year, Dreezy was in the running to make the Freshman cover. Does she have what it takes to make that jump next year?
