Is Lil Wayne washed, or still something like the self-proclaimed best rapper alive? There are validations for an argument to be made either way with some fans falling out with the rapper over perceived past sub-par projects, while having to wait too long for Tha Carter V. But we can always count on Mixtape Weezy, right?

While his Cash Money status remains in limbo, Tune hasn't been shy about giving away new music in the 2015 projects Sorry 4 The Wait 2 and Free Weezy Album. In his latest attempt to keep fans' palate's satisfied while he works out his legal issues, he drops another installment in the No Ceilings mixtape franchise. The project was teased at the beginning of the month with Wayne confirming its existence a few days later. Now we have it on our plates.

As usual Wayne is snapping over some of the hottest beats on the market giving a go to Drake's "Back To Back," Future's "Where Ya At," Rico Richie's "Poppin" and 2 Chainz' "Watch Out." Mannie Fresh, Future, Yo Gotti, Turk, Hood Baby, Lucci Lou as well as Young Money Ent artists Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Shanell and Euro appear on the tape.

The original No Ceilings came out on Halloween 2009. The tape featured memorable remixes of F.L.Y.’s “Swag Surf,” Jay Z’s “D.O.A,” and “Run This Town." Will Tune shake off the rust and return to rare form?
