Tomorrow (Nov. 20), Freddie Gibbs returns with Shadow of a Doubt, a blistering new mixtape that showcases Gary's finest over sparse, sinister production. Today, Gibbs lets go of one of that project's most highly anticipated songs: "10 Times," a collaboration with E-40 and Gucci Mane. While the latter MC shares Gibbs' animosity toward Jeezy, this song veers toward more agreeable territory, which is to say it veers toward Heat games and condom ads. The song is produced by Sid "Speakerbomb" Miller, who serves (alongside Gibbs and his manager, Ben "Lambo" Lambert), as executive producer of Shadow of a Doubt. To help promote the release, the Los Angeles transplant provides Spotify with a massive playlist including some of his favorite songs. He puts his own singles alongside classics by the likes of Big L, Jay Z, Gang Starr, OutKast and more hip-hop greats--not to mention contributions from D'Angelo and Curtis Mayfield. Listen below:
