Fetty Wap might be leading the charge out of New Jersey, but there are plenty of other MCs coming out of the Garden State. Straight outta Hackensack, Da$h has been bubbling on the scene for a few years now. Since 2010 he has put out a string of well received mixtape and EP releases (including the Double A-Side series and V.I.C.E.S.) and appeared on projects from A$AP Rocky, Mac Miller, Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt. Today , he puts out his eighth mixtape project, 17 More Minutes.

17 More Minutes is a play on the old adage about how much time each cigarette takes off a smoker's life. The project features 12 tracks, with production from Earl Sweatshirt (under his beat making alias Randomblackdude), Thelonoius Martin, P on the Boards, L.S XXXX, H.N.I.C., and more. On the tape, Da$h trades bars along with Aston Matthews, Sha Hef, and Marz Lovejoy. As with the majority of his projects, most of the album is dark with spaced out soundscapes that compliment the tone.

This is the follow up to the Jersey devil's most recent release, the EP Screwface. Dash dedicates the new project to the late A$AP Mob visionary A$AP Yams. Taking to Twitter, he posted, "THIS SHIT IS FOR YAMS. I LOVE YOU KID SEE YOU AT THE FUNKTION."
