The year 2015 will officially go down as the year the release date didn't mean anything. The year where the surprise album, dropped with little or not warning, ruled the landscape. B.o.B is the latest rap artist to drop an album on fans without any forewarning. Today, the Decatur lyricist releases a "special project" entitled Psycadelik Thoughtz via Rebel Rock/Grand Hustle/Atlantic.

His fourth studio album, the new project follows 2013's Underground Luxury. Psycadelik Thoughtz contains 11 tracks, none of which have been previously released, and again finds Bobby Ray pushing the boundaries of hip-hop with elements of pop and rock. Jon Bellion is assists with the track, "Violence" while Soakey Siren appears on "Confucius." The "Nothing On You" rapper's boo thang Sevvyn Streeter is featured on the song, "Love Life." On the cover he appears in a colorful graphic that seems to depict him in the form of on of the Hindu gods.

Earlier this year, B.o.B formally introduced his new label and artists with the release of his No Genre: The Label mixtape which featured the exploits of newcomers, Lin-Z, London Jae, Jake Lambo, Scotty ATL and Jaque.

This kind of leaves one question as to what will happen with the successful single "Not For Long" featuring Trey Songz that was getting heavy radio rotation earlier this year. Will it appear on another project Bobby plans to drop later this year? In celebration of the new project the B. Ray will be hosting B.o.B Presents: Bobwood Fest tonight in Atlanta.
